Osceola Rod and Gun Club Feb. 9th, 1955 Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Motion by Kenneth Nelson and 2nd by Ivar Hanson that the secretary purchase new stencils for multi graph and membership cards. (Books) Pres. Nelson reports that 2 pheasant feeders are at work and more are being made and will be placed, the W.C.D. donated 1/2 ton of corn for feeders. Mrs. Frank Snyder invited the club to visit them at Bone Lake and see all of Frank's movies of fish, game, and birds. Locy Stewart addressed the club on the idea of a juvenile fishing contest in the near future and Pres. Nelson appointed Locy, Carl Peterson, John Bierman, and Ivar Hanson to the arrangement committee. A large crowd enjoyed the film "Watershed" shown by Mr. Geo. King pinchhitting for Mr. Howard Fallis. Mrs. Frank Snyder presented the muskie film in Frank's absence. Both films were very interesting, educational, and well received by the crowd. Mrs. Snyder volunteered to furnish several prizes for the junior fishing contest. Meeting adjourned @ 9:45 and lunch was served by V.Pres. Art Steinmetz.
