Osceola Rod and Gun Club Dec. 12, 1934 On December 12, 1934 the annual meeting of the Osceola Rod and Gun Club was called, and held in the Community Room of the Bank of Osceola, WI. Upon roll call a majority of the members were present and the meeting was declared legal. The following officers were elected for one year.
The matter of winter feeding of the pheasants was taken up and there were several suggestions as to what to do and how to go about feeding. It was also decided that the members of the club would build several hopper feeders and place where pheasant were feeding. Feeders were to be placed in the following places: Fish hatchery, Cedar Bend, Nye, and Wonderoos. It was decided that the club enter the contest on winter feeding. The following committee was appointed to attend getting the subscription for the Outdoor Life magazine; Hawkinson, Stelling, Cooper, and Langenbach. It was decided that the club put on an Oyster stew at the Hotel Osceola Dec. 18th 1934, committee in charge; Ernest Zorn, E.G. Cooper, V.E. Ashcroft. It was further decided that we have a rabbit hunt this year and was to be held Jan. 6, 1935. The rules of the rabbit hunt was to be taken up at the Oyster Stew.
No further business, meeting was adjourned.
