Osceola Rod and Gun Club Jan. 11th 1934


Minutes of last meeting read and approved.

We have 19 feeders out at present time.

Motion made that the secretary write to Lee on getting feed for pheasants for this part of Polk County, which we were unable to get as this money, $35, is going to be spent on seed in the northern part of the county to care for winter feeding for the coming year.

We believe we are feeding 5000 birds from this club at this time.

Motion made by Schuster that we get the other rod & gun club teams in the county feeding birds to get in on the prizes given by the state. Carried.

Motion made that president Beyel purchase feed out of the fund in the bank for feeders. Carried.

Motion made that we have another rabbit hunt. Carried.
Jan. 14th, same teams as before, no meeting place, no shooting till 1 o'clock. Meet at Zorn Garage at 5 o'clock.

Motion made that we have an oyster stew - losing team buys. Carried.

Jan. 17th 1934

An oyster stew was served at Hotel Osceola.
Attended by 46 members.
Taken out of funds of the Rod and Gun Club.

A talk was given by Dr. Reigel of St. Croix Falls.
A story by Dr. Funne and a short talk by Rev. Meyers.

After the meeting all left in good spirits.

Feb. 7th 1934

Motion that we have a meeting the 1st of March and show in the Spanish Garden.
Program left to -Stewart -Stelling -Zorn -Lindberg.
Films by Stewart & Zorn.

Motion that we are willing to pay $1.00 per month for lights in J. E. Watner basement. And that we give him free membership.

Motion made to leave shooting nights up to field captain and to pick teams.

Motion made that we meet the 1st Thursday of each month.
