This information is based on the first recorded minutes.

Our first meeting was held in the Bank of Osceola on November 16th, 1933.
  • Eugene Beyel elected temporary Chairman.
  • Charles W. Anderson - temporary Secratary
  • Carl S. Peterson - temporary Treasurer

After these officers were elected a motion was made by Robert Soderberg that we organize a rod and gun club.
Motion carried.

A temporary committee was then organized to get members from their community.

    On this committee were:
  • Robert Soderberg -----> Dresser Jct.
  • Roy E. Nelson ---------> Nye
  • John Langenback -----> Farmington
  • L. W. Stewart ----------> Osceola

Motion made that we set a fee of $1 payable in advance; Carried.

Motion made by Bert Johnson that all members here tonight act as temporary committee men and to bring two men with them that are not members; Carried.

November 23, 1933

The officers of temporary committee met in the Bank of Osceola to discuss laws and rules of the club.

  1. That we call the club The Osceola Rod and Gun Club.
  2. That we use the bylaws of the Frederic Rod and Gun Club.
  3. That we hold a regular meeting December 7th, 1933.
